Coaching psychology is a focused service in developing clients insight and own inner resources. Coaching Psychologists will challenge the beliefs and assumptions clients make that prevent them either from reaching their full potential or assess priorities for different paths in support of building a happier, more successful or satisfying life.

The International Coaching Federation  (ICF ) Definition of Coaching

“Professional coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.  In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client’s progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future.”  ” Results are a matter of the client’s intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach’s efforts and application of the coaching process.”

A coaching psychology program is complete when the client is able to lay down their own path to happiness, satisfaction or success without needing our ongoing support. There is no set time frame for this because each client is different and has unique needs. Clients are always welcome to re-engage with services at times of particular stress or where big decisions are being made and additional support is needed.
